Adjust worksheet
Create a worksheet pack
Prepare several days of practice in one go, then print or save a PDF.
Keep the same topic and difficulty, with a different problem set on each worksheet. Questions can repeat for practice.
Handwrite on screen
Use a tablet to write directly on the worksheet and mark it with a red pen.

For teachers and parents
Count to the next hour, count complete hours, then count the remaining minutes. Use 60 minutes per hour and include a full-day crossing only when the question explicitly says next day.
A common slip
Clock minutes use groups of sixty. Treating 1 hour 30 minutes as 1.30 hours gives the wrong interval.
An event starts at 9:00 and ends at 9:15 (same day). How many minutes does it last?
